Reggio Emilia and its territory

Caserma Zucchi parking area  - Piazzale Lancieri d'Aosta, Reggio Emilia - Thursday, 10 October 9.30am and Sunday, 13 October 3.30pm

Duration: 5 - 6 hours

Project developed in close collaboration with Campagna Amica – Coldiretti.

A tour through Reggio Emilia’s countryside to discover its hidden beauty, its farms and food & wine products, as unique in the world as the biodiversity from which they come.

There are roads and byways just outside Reggio Emilia that carry travelers back in time. Step through the gates of Reggia di Rivalta’s Secret Garden, where Duchess Charlotte of Orleans, niece of the Sun King Louis the 14th once strolled. Sample the genuine flavor of Reggiano home cooking and its uniquely incomparable ingredients: Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and Lambrusco Red (organic and biodynamic wine naturally fermented in bottles). Visit farms that uphold ancient traditions with innovative agricultural technologies.
